Commission Info

I may decline a commission for whatever reason.

I will send a WIP sketch of your commission before finishing it. If you would like to receive more, please let me know upfront.

When claiming a YCH, please be clear that you would like to claim it. I will not ask for clarification on comments that are unclear.

Commissions will typically take anywhere from a week to several months to complete depending on how complex it is. For larger commissions I will send updates as I make progress. Feel free to reach out at any time for an update.

Please include the following information in your message:

I require payment upfront before I will start on your commission. I only accept payments through Paypal invoices in USD.

I do not give refunds unless I cannot complete your commission. You may ask for a full refund if no progress has been made three months after payment is received. I will not provide refunds under any other circumstances.

For hourly commissions, please provide me with a budget and I will invoice you up front for 50% of that budget as a down payment; the rest will be due after the commission is finished. I will not send the final full quality file until full payment is received; if you need a payment plan, please let me know.

Additional characters are the same price as the base commission price. For example, an unshaded sketch ($100) with two characters would be $200 in total. With shading, it would be $260.

I may charge extra if your character, scene, or outfit is particularly detailed or complex and requires more time spent. This fee will vary depending on the type of commission and I will bring it up to you before I send an invoice.

Deadlines must be approved before I start working on your commission. Depending on my availability, I may not be able to work on a close deadline.

I will charge extra for tight deadlines, but I will not charge for deadlines that I can reasonably meet with my regular work schedule. This fee will vary depending on the type of commission and will be percentage based.

Mistakes caused by unclear references/correspondence will require a fee to be fixed. Please make sure to provide me with references that show all of your character's current markings and features.

If I have forgotten a marking or detail please let me know and I will happily fix it! I will also make small edits to a finished commission if you want a detail changed, however, heavy edits will require a fee.

I will make edits to commissions done in the past if you would like some minor changes to the markings/lines/etc., and the price will vary depending on the type of editing.

Do not trace/recolor my work or claim it as your own. I retain all rights to my artwork. You may repost your commission as long as I'm given proper credit; please include my username in your post somewhere (i.e. for tweets, include my username in the original post with the artwork and not in a reply).

For design commissions, I may sell any design not used for the final character. This does not include iterations of the character that look similar to the final design.

You may use your commission for personal uses only. If you're interested in licensing the work for commercial purposes, please contact me about licensing fees.

Please avoid giving me references that are traditional or shaded unless you are okay with some mistakes in color/markings being made. I will not work with references that are covered in watermarks, such as from Toyhouse. References should ideally be digital and very clearly show all of the character's markings, colors, and features.

I will not go looking for more references if the one you provided isn't clear enough, so please send all appropriate images and point out if there's anything really important to include that could be overlooked. Do not send me a Toyhouse gallery of images to use as references; please just send one or two images.

I charge a 15% fee for adult artwork as they are typically more detailed and require more time to complete. This fee is already included in YCH prices; you will not be charged extra.

You must be 18+ to commission adult artwork from me, which includes nonsexual nudity and suggestive themes.
